Larry Joseloff
Bass
Somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota, Larry Joseloff was born in a log cabin and killed him a bear when he was only three. Raised by wolves, Larry was later forcefully kicked out of the pack due to his receding hairline.
Lost and alone, Larry naturally took up music as a way to meet chicks. His first musical experience was playing The Indian Chief in the ill-fated Village People tribute band "Penis Flytrap". Following the break-up, Larry began what are known as the "lost years" which culminated with him busking on street corners to support his $100 a day toad licking habit.
Broke and destitute, Larry was forced to sell himself into sexual slavery on eBay, where he ended up in Washington DC as houseboy to the Ambassador of Gamehenge. After the revolution Larry escaped and made his fame and fortune by inventing the Internet and selling the rights to Al Gore.
Larry Joseloff has been a staple of the Washington music scene for the last ten years, in such local juggernauts as Avant Gaardvark, Ducks on Mars, and Cerulean Groove. Known by local club owners as "that red-devil Yankee bastard", Larry has brought his obsession with jam bands of dubious worth with him everywhere he goes and remains deeply entrenched in the "gut-bucket" tradition. When not playing with Ten Feet Tall, Larry can be often found in the back yard of his provincial Bethesda estate sipping an exotic micro-brew, chasing his dogs, and scaring the neighbors.
